Hi All,
I need to customize PO_STANDARAD_XSLFO.xls file to capture more details on PO PDF. Currently we are on 11.5.10.2.
One of the requirement is I need to add Buyer phone number on the output, I explored the possibilities and it looks I may need to customize PO_COMMUNICATIONS_PVT package.

Kindly let me know if there are any other ways to do this.

Hi

I am using XMl publisher for the first time. You expained the bursting feature ,but thru bursting we can only email the file.
However with Delivery Manager we have lot of options. Could you please help me how to setup Delivery manager to FTP the report

I would like to convert an existing EBS report to Excel format. This report would have around 30 columns. However the RTF template only allows me to have 15 columns in template format.

How to understand the envionment url or databasename without customizing APXPBFEG.rdf, currently there is no field in the report that refers to the database environment.
Thus, this change is mainly of .rtf file wherein we have to keep the field blank if it is prod env else print void. I would like to know whether can we proceed by using variables etc in .rtf?
How to do that? Please inform.

Hi,

I needed some help on Multilingual Reports (Russian) to generated using XML Publisher.
In the Reports I've put in the XML Section so that the XML Publisher can recognise the Russian Characters. This works fine.
But when I run the Report thro' Apps the PDF Generated doesn't show the Russian Chars but shows ????????.
When I run the same Concurrent Program as a Report 6i /RDF (with format =Text) the output shows the Russian Chars.
This is happening even when I run the report thro ' a Russian Apps Setup.

Any clues would be of great help.

I am facing some problem in below mentioned issue.
Please help me....

I need to develop mechanism for varying XML Publisher output by instance in other words Instance based Output of XML Report Publisher without customizing particular rdf or package.

for this we need to call particular template or format that template depend upon Instance name. So we need instance name in XML file but we don't have instance name in that particular XML Data file.

How can I add Instance name in rtf template and XML data file without customizing XML Source package or rdf Report to compare that Instance name with current instance name in RTF Template.

For example:
If Instance name = Production then call watermark of company logo otherwise simple report output.

Note: don’t have Instance name in XML Data file.

Problem in displaying charts in XML publisher

Hi,
I am a beginner in XML publisher. I tried creating MS Word template with charts (pie chart and bar Chart). In preview, the charts are displayed perfectly but when I try to register as a concurrent program, all the elements (tables, chart specification etc.,) are displayed EXCEPTthe charts which are NOT displayed in the output. Tried many options, but in vain. Could you please let me know the possible cause of this behaviour and the solution ASAP? Thanks...

Space between two invoice lines

Hi Anil,

I have XML publisher report which contains Japnese character data because of that additional space is coming in two invoice lines.
Can you please let me know if you have any idea or if there is any workaround available to avoid this.

I recently did lot of customizations for the "PO_STANDARD_XSLFO" to generate PO PDFs for both
complex service PO and Standard POs.

Hi,

Please help with the following:
If PO line status cancel flag= 'Y' the the row printed in word template must be striked for that record.
I have placed an If condition under the Lines group in lines detail column, I have also find out how to color that row if the condition is met, but I am searching to find out how to strikethrough the entire record, if the condition is met.

Hi,

I have a issue with bursting the Excel formatted output of BI publisher report. If the size is less than everything works fine. If the output file size is 33 MB, i am not able to view the output in the request form and also bursting is not working. Can you please let me know if there is any restriction in the size of excel output for bursting.

In XML Publisher templates, we could see output type as PDF, EXCEL, FO, HTML and RTF. I want XML publisher output as TEXT. Customer wants output in both PDF and TEXT. Please suggest how to get TEXT output.
