This book is the result of an effort from me and Vladimir Ajvaz to condense the Oracle Applications development concepts and best practices in an organized manner.

We designed the contents in this book keeping in mind the both the freshers and experienced professionals.

Therefore we started from scratch when writing this book.

Excellent Book

I have been developing on Oracle Apps for 10 years and have used almost all the tools described, but this book contains lots of ideas and techniques I haven't used and organizes them into a handy reference for the developer. We've all had the situation come up where we know we've done this before but it's been a few years and we can't remember where that code snippet is - well, it's probably in this book and you can find it easily.

Thanks for all the hard work in here. I would recommend that everyone who works as an Oracle Apps technical resource buy a copy right away.

I have followed Anil's websites very closely since 6 months, i have ordered the book already and i read the book and is really good for the emerging as well as for the existing developers.....if anybody starting or shifting their career to Development side..its good to read this book...this is my personnel opinion...

Got book

Hi Anil,

I got the book yesteray and stuff is more likey good as compare to other author.

But I am looking only OAF stuff and this book has only two chapters.

Can I ask you one question? If I go through these two chapter would that be sufficient for OAF knowledge.Actually I wanted to be master in OAF and SOA.
What should I do.Please guide me.

OAF is just one of the technologies covered in this book. You are right in saying that there is one chapter on OAF and other on Skinning OAF screens

You do write cool stuff!!! I could imagine your book can give more insight to experiences as well as beginners. I am following your site for last couple of years and every now and then I hear good bits from you. Book has been ordered and I am looking fwd to read it specially SOA and OAF section.
