I believe you have finished building HelloWorld Project, as per previous Oracle BPEL Training article.
Lets do the testing to see Oracle BPEL HelloWorld in action.

Step 1
. Navigate to BPEL Control and select Dashboard Tab. You should now see project HelloPassiWorld.

Step 2. Click on HelloPassiWorld.
Step 3. In the input field, enter " SOA World"
Remember that we will concatenate a text to the value entered in Input Variable.
Following that the stage_2 would assign the modified input variable to output variable.
Step 4. Click on Post XML Message

Step 5. The results of the test are

You can see that result is now Hello From Passi to SOA.
Effectively, we manipulated the inputVariable and then assigned the manipulated value to outputVariable[result].
The entire exercise for developing and testing HelloWorld in BPEL will take just 2minutes provided you know the steps.

hi Anil
I have a question. I am trying to install apps 11i on an external drive. What I want to do is to install vmware on the external drive first and then RH linux on it and finally apps on that linux OS. Is this possible? I mean after installing can I access it from any system to which I connect my external hard drive. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi Venkat,

You can surely do that.
In my case I built the VM on my main PC, and then simply dragged and dropped the VM directory to External Drive. Now I am able to use my external drive wherever I wish, with a new OS alltogether.

So, to answer your question, you can install VM on either your PC or on Ext drive.

I would say build RH Linux on VM on a PC, as that will be quicker. Once built, just move the .vmx file to external hard disk.

Thanks

How to expose this BPEL process as web service
written by RaviS , December 22, 2010
Anil - Thanks for the post! My question is how can I expose this BPEL process or for that matter any BPEL process as web service?

Secondly is there a way to develop web service in BPEL or do we need to do that in Oracle Service Bus? Could you please do a post on how to develop web service in SOA / BPEL.

Thanks!
