Introduction
In one of the previous article we have seen how to run “Person Setup Validations ” Diagnostic Test but in case one ins interested to find out whether a specific person record has some issues we need to run the “Person Validations ” Diagnostic Test.
Worked Example
We would need to login to the application with an admin user (HCM_IMPL). This does not means that for all environments/pods all admin users would have access to view and execute Diagnostic Tests. There are specific roles namely Applications Diagnostic Administrator which needs to be added for the same.
In our case, we have the same added for HCM_IMPL and so we will proceed.
Navigation: Login to Application with proper credentials -> Click on Run Diagnostic Tests
Once you click on the link a new popup window will open and you may search for “Person Setup Validations ” Diagnostic Test. This diagnostic test needs First Name and Last Name as input.(For this example we have used Frank Adams as the employee for whom we are about to run the Person Validations Diagnostic Test)
Next, we need to click on the “Run” button and then a dialog message box will appear stating that the test has been submitted
We would be able to see the status of the test run under “Diagnostic: Test Run Status ”
We can verify the results by clicking on the “Report” icon.
Verifying Results
We could see from the above screen that there are some critical issues with the report. We would need to click on the Report Icon to get complete details.
With this we have come to the end of this article and hope that this was a good read.
