Introduction
In one of the previous article (Creating a new employee using the newsfeed layout in Oracle HCM Cloud Release 13 (Update 18B) ) we have seen how to create a new employee in the new improved , simple, easy and user friendly newsfeed layout. In this post we will see how to peform a “Change Legal Employer” transaction.
As a pre-requisite we would need to have a existing employee record which we would like to use. We would use “Jospeh Carlson” (Person# 10010) for this example.
Next we need to click on the “Home” icon which will bring us to the following screen
Next we need to click on “Change Legal Employer” and search for “Joseph Carlson” (remember you need to give the exact name and in same sequence..if you give the last name first and then the first name then search wont yield any results)
Once you click on the employee name a new page will open whee one would be asked for the areas where all we would like to make change (for this example we will choose “Edit Manager Info” and “Edit Salary Info” sections along with the Legal Employer Change )
We will change the Legal Employer from “US1 Legal Employer” to “UK Legal Employer” effective 01-Sep-2018
Once all the sections are populated we can see the “Edit” (Pencil Icon) beside each section and then we can click on submit button.
We can click on “Submit” Button (Top Right Hand Section) and once done we would be back to the Home Screen.
Now we will Navigate to “Person Management” and search for Joseph Carlson
We could clearly see that Global Transfer took place effective 01-Sep-2018
