Pooled Account in Oracle Payables

Most of the Government Organizations as well as few other companies might have a requirement they want to manage multiple Funds with Single Bank account. In that case you cannot create two bank accounts in Oracle Applications, but you need to ensure the Expense and Accounting distribution lines are created with Multiple Lines for each Expense as well as Liability Accounts and Bank Account.

Please find an article from from Mr Sivakumar Ganeson that describes "How to use Pooled Account in Oracle Payables".

The article can be accessed from this link

AR and TM usage
written by Lynnett Izer , January 14, 2009
Based on your last paragraph regarding the AR use and 11.5.10 and R12, we use AR in conjunction with TM. As of right now the pooled ed account information is not allowed in TM at all. Is there changes in R12 that will allow us to use the same bank account for more that one party?

Greetings,

Before I start, I must firstly apologize for this unsolicited proposal to you.I am aware that this is certainly an conventional approach to starting a relationship, but as time goes on you will realize the need for my action.

My name is Jean Luke, solicitor to Gerald Walsh who died with his family in an air crash on the 31st October 1999. Before the death of Gerald Walsh, he aintained a fixed deposit account (details of which I will disclose to you later).

Since his death, none of his relatives have come to make claims for this money as his next-of-kin and the financial institution cannot release the fund from his account unless someone applies for claims.

The financial institution has made several futile efforts to contact his relatives.Based on this discovery, I now seek your ermission to have you stand in as a next of kin to the deceased, as all documentations will be carefully worked out by me for the release of these funds all amounting to the tune of (US$7,400,000.00) to any nominated account of your choice.

I guarantee that this project will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you and me from any breach of the law.Upon receipt of your co-operating response I would want you to provide me with your contact telephone number so that i can call you for more vital informations, I will further update you on the next approach towards the achievement of this
golden heritage.
Regards
Jean Luke

I was reading your Advance Pricing postings, and the document, the examples are not very clear. Not sure if your flow is accurate too. May be you were in hurry, and hopefully we are yet to see your better document in future.
