Scheduler is most important part of the Oracle Identity manger.There are number of Out-Of-The-Box(OOTB) scheduled processes that plays important role in Oracle Identity Manager such as those assigning roles, triggering access policy, enable ladap sync. Some time we face issues that these schedulers stop working. A non-experienced IDM consultant in such cases will restart the server. But in production system you must not restart server as n when you feel.

Therefore the Oracle Identity Manager has an out of the box fuctionality to start and stop all the deployed scheduler(OOTB or custom) at a one click.

The steps are....

Hit this URl in browser where

OIM_HOST= Host of OIM (IP address or Hostname)

Port= Port number of the running OIM 

http://OIM_HOST:OIM_PORT/SchedulerService-web/status

You will get pop up will ask for the credential.

gives OIM admin user credential(xelsysadm).

After you logged in you can see two button

1) STOP and

2) REINIT

if you want to stop all the scheduler click on "stop" button .If you want to restart all the scheduler click on "REINIT" button . 

So the above functionality will save your time and as well as the loss due to inactivity of schedulers.
