    Hi Ravinder,

Please find the response to your query below:

    1. For the excel sheets to work you need to install ADFDI excel plugin.

    2. You can follow the video mentioned in the link below to know how you can install ADFDI.The video covers Installation of ADFDI, Smart View, and FRS. Currently, for the excel sheet, you will require ADFDI.

    3. Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based edition of the Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Office 365 offers two ways to use Excel: online and installed.

Excel Online does not support VSTO/COM add-ins. Hence, the ADFdi COM add-in cannot be used with Excel Online.

The installed option offers a streaming download/installation from the Office 365 site. The result of this process is a desktop installation of the Office suite that is similar, but not identical, to past desktop installations. This installation identifies itself as "Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus". The ProPlus edition of Excel does support add-ins. ADFdi supports the installed option of Excel 2013/2016 of Office 365 starting with version 4.3.0 version ADFdi. The Office 365 installed option is sometimes called "Click-to-Run" (C2R).

Please feel free to let us know if any further assistance required.

    Hello Kashif,

Do you have plug-in compatible for excel for MAC. .exe file dowloaded from the instance is not working on the Mac.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Thanks,
    Ravinder
