ADF will replace OA Framework in future. It will be useful for devloping advanced UIs ( AJAX, JSF, Portlets using Webcentre...) for any application ( not only EBS , it can be used for other legacy application also). Backend to ADF will be business processes which can built using BPEL.
Apart from ADF, For java developer the scope is to create Java webservice services or Application Modules ( OA Framework) on top of EBS for any custom functionality. These service or AM can be called through BPEL for Business Processes integration of custom functionality.
Most of All fusion Middleare technologies (BPEL,ESB, Webservice Manager, Business Rules, Oracle Data Integrator, Service Registery, Orable Business Intilligence ) need Java knowledge .
There will be lots and lots scope for Java Developer in future considering Fusion .
regards
Ravi
