Fusion HCM brings a lot of cool features. For example, a manager can now drill down to from the person in their team to see what their social media links are.
The staff can simlpy click on their linkedin or gmail or facebook and login automatically when they click from Fusion HCM. [Note - For this to work, Oracle Access Manager configured and the Fusion HCM Application host must be registered on the linkedin, google or facebook’s developer sites]. As a manager, you can track the social reputation metrics for your staff over a period of time.
The collaboration of activities in Fusion HCM are much more intutive as compared to Oracle EBS. For example, when you create a goal in talent management, it then gets converted into social conversation. This can then be used collaborat with other staff as required. This facilitates the collaboration around the goal making the user experience not much different than how we collaborate on social sites such as facebook. In Fusion HCM, a lot of capabilities have been added to make the interaction with the system harmonised with human behaviour, rather than users having to remember where to click here or there. Further, the HCM allows the organizations to help identify high potential talent.

You can see the Employee Directory in a graphical way. In EBS, many customers built custom screens to achieve this functionality or had to integrate HR data to bespoke systems
The managers can see the benefits that are available to their staff.
OBIEE is embedded within Fusion HCM.
In Fusion you can can use the ADF artifact View Objects to report as well. Therefore the same security applicable to transactions apply to the users when they view the reports as well.
The payslip in Fusion HCM is a BI Publisher report. The key feature in Fusion is that you can develop your BI Publisher reports straight from the browser as well without having to install BI Publisher plugin for simple reports.
The staff can manage their own bank accounts easily from self service for the payments from their payroll.
Now the manager can use the system calculated matrics to know which team member in their team is under paid or overpaid.
In Oracle EBS R12, the manager has to keep going back to the responsibility and keep clicking different menu items. Now in Fusion HCM, everything appears to be just 2 clicks away.
You can see some predictions about how the person will perform and what their predicted attrition is. Therefore to the manager the system will predict and advise what possibly can happen to my team and who has high possibility of leaving. Statistical modelling is used in Fusion HCM that scans over a 100 attributes of a person such as when were they paid, how was their performance compared to their peers, how many goals did they have and how did they perform etc.
The manager can see how good their particular staff member is performing in the various goals
The manager can see the nature of the career interests that their team member has, so that they can align their tasks and works as per their career interests.
Unlike in EBS where the manager has to keep a track of the performance by looking at the numbers in the OA Framework tables, now the manager in Fusion HCM gets a pictorial view of how their team member is progressing in their goals
The manager can now keep a track of the performance of their staff on the move.
