This training article is intended to discuss how to display various reports in the Reports & Analytics work area for a specific user.
How to map reports to work area?
In the article on OTBI we have discussed all about BI reporting system in detail. Let us now see how we can map desired reports to the work area. Any mapping changes made applies to all users with access to the mapped work areas. In order to run a report, an user must have permissions set on the reports in Oracle BI presentation catalog. Let us see how to map reports to work area
Navigation: Navigator > Setup & Maintenance area
Search for Map Reports to Work Areas > Click on Go to task
Select the application and work area and click on Search
Click on Select and Add icon
Expand All in order to navigate down the folder structure to find the reporting object required to be mapped to the work area
Select the desired report and click on Apply. In the Map Reports to Work Areas task click Save button.

1. Is this the same workaround for Fusion HCM Reports ?
2. Work area?do we need to define one?
3.Any security roles that need to done for users?
