In this article, the following video will illustrate how to create SETID, Business Units, Jobs using these SETIDs and Business Units, Locations using these SETIDs and Business Units and Departments using the COMMON SETID (Seeded, delivered by Oracle).
Step 1 - Create the following SETIDs
- JGSALES,
- JGMRKT,
- JGMFG,
- JGMONTREAL
- JGTORONTO
Step 2 - Create the following Business Units
- Sales,
- Marketing
- Manufacturing
Step 3 - Create the following Jobs
- Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Sales Executive by choosing reference SETID 'JGSALES'
- Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Specialist by choosing reference SETID 'JGMRKT'
- Plant Operator, Production Manager, Parts Assembler by choosing reference SETID 'JGMFG'
Step 4 - Create the following Locations
- Toronto by choosing reference SETID JGTORONTO
- Montreal by choosing reference SETID JGMONTREAL
Step 5 - Create the following Departments
- HR
- Sales
- Manufacturing (all tied to COMMON SETID).
